| Share Information |
Information can be easily shared with referring physicians, clinical colleagues or patients, as CDs can be viewed on virtually any computer. The CDRS automatically records a custom DICOM viewer along with the patient study and demographic information on each CD, allowing for convenient display as well as exporting of BMP images and AVIs to popular PC applications. Information such as patient position, slice locations, slice thickness and patient demographics can also be displayed. |
| Increase Efficiency |
CDs are a cost effective, stable and simple mechanism to store and share patient information. The CDRS performs like a network printer – just click the "Create CD" icon and patient studies are recorded to medical grade CDs along with a DICOM viewer. The user can simply push or retrieve a patient study to the CDRS and it will automatically record patient images to CD and print patient demographics and facility logo on the CD surface. Automatically records and labels up to 300 CDs without an operator present. |
| Increase Flexibility |
Not only can the CDs be shared with both patients and physicians, but patient demographic information can be edited or eliminated completely to ensure HIPAA readiness and make the images usable for conferences and teaching purposes. In addition, hospital promotional information can be automatically recorded on each CD using the automated CDRS, increasing your institution’s visibility among referring physicians. |
| Increase Organization |
To improve HIPAA implementation and the preparation of disclosure logs, the CDRS provides both an exchange and archive database that logs all CDs created. All CDs recorded for storage in house can be easily accessed using our shelf management tool. The shelf management feature is convenient and provides the ability to easily locate the media containing previously archived studies as required. |
